Our mission as a church is to simply "Love God and Love People".
Our mission focus comes from the Gospel according to Mark 12:30-31 where Jesus said,
"'And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all
your mind and with all your strength.’ .... ‘
You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’
There is no other commandment greater than these.”
It may sound easy, but we realize our need for community, for connection, to encourage us as we journey through life and grow in love.
"Be kind, everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle"
John Watson (aka Ian Maclaren 1850-1907)
What We Believe
We are committed to Jesus Christ, we are His church. We are committed to the truth of the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments – and we seek to have our thoughts, actions, and attitudes guided by a biblical Christian worldview.
We believe we are called to share the love of Christ with each other, our community and even to the ends of world. As such, we voluntarily associate with the SBC, which is the largest and one of the most effective evangelical mission organizations in the world. We support the Cooperative Program of the SBC in an effort to share the good news of salvation in Jesus Christ with every nation and person around the world.
We hold to the historic doctrinal tenets that have been cherished by orthodox, evangelical, Protestant Christians:
Scripture alone rules our faith and practice.
Grace alone is how we are saved.
Faith alone is how we receive God’s grace.
Christ alone is the object of our faith.
God's glory alone is our ultimate desire.
A commitment to these truths anchors us to the past, gives us joy in the present, and sets our course for the future.
Christ reached out to people of all ages and backgrounds and, we desire to do the same. That’s why we hope you’ll discover that our ministries are geared to various life stages and needs. We have a venue for each person to study the Scriptures, fellowship, and serve one another in the name of Jesus Christ.
We invite you to be a part of the blessings of God in the life of our church.

Our Membership Covenant (agreement with each other)
Having received the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, and by profession of faith alone in Christ alone, and having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, we do now in the presence of God, most solemnly and joyfully, enter into Covenant with one another as one body in Christ. We commit ourselves, by the aid the Holy Spirit, to walk in Christian love by maintaining and protecting the unity of the Church, by acting in humility toward others, and by being slow to take offense and quick to forgive and seek forgiveness. We also commit ourselves, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to share in the mission of the Church by praying regularly for its spiritual and physical growth, and for that of the Church universal. We also commit ourselves, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to serve the Church by discovering our gifts, by study and preparation, and by desiring a servant’s heart. We further commit ourselves, by the aid of the Holy Spirit, to support the testimony of the Church by attending faithfully, by living godly lives, and by sharing our time, talents, and resources, for the glory of God alone.
